while driving over sand dunes on the island of Sal in Cape Verde, a tourism company took pictures of me and the family.
visiting Cape Verde was an experience that i will never forget. stepping on the same land your ancestors stepped on is an extraordinary feeling.
unfortunately, i have yet to go back. i will though.
“Cabo Verdeans United” is working to bring joy to the children of the islands of Cabo Verde by constructing playgrounds for the underserved communities in the area. my mother is a high ranking member and i value all the great work they’re accomplishing.
